Our startup story began with a challenge

While working in his grandfather’s factory, Mr. Fahad Farooq, was given a challenge by his grandfather to develop 24K Gold coatings which are used as decorative coatings on ceramic tableware.

The challenge was accepted! and 8 years of extensive research work was executed by Mr. Fahad Farooq to develop the first commercially viable sample of the product.

In the pursuit of developing this product, Mr. Fahad Farooq found several sub-challenges. And in order to overcom those challenges different technologies were development in the first of scientific research, process engineering and information technology.

Several ideas were conceived and several solution were developed. All of these were quite useful not only for the 24K gold coatings venture, but also for almost every business in the world.

So, it was decided to open the door to the world! and offer all the technologies and techniques to the whole world!

The startup was founded in 2015 by Mr. Fahad Farooq, a young and ambitious entrepreneur who had a passion for science and technology. 

CMYK Research started offering its services to other businesses as a problem solving company. Our started assisted other companies in developing new materials through continuous research and development. 

Besides this, CMYK Research’s sister company which was offering software & web development

Ironstep Software was also founded by Mr. Fahad Farooq during the pursuit of developing the 24K deocorative coatings. The company was engaged in offering Enterprise Resource Planning Systems and web development services. 

In order to consolidate all the efforts and organize all the business processes, a unified business management approach was required. Therefore the decision was made to merge the software development company with its parent company CMYK Research. 

Now all the scientific research and technology related services are offered under one umbralla of CMYK Research.
